Two men and a child standing on the dock on the proper left side. Boat moving in the water pulling another smaller boat. White text across the bottom reads "G & G Mercantile Dock, 2-A215, Marco, Fla.". Handwritten note on the back reads "Hi Mom & Pop, Having an outing today. This is on the Tamiami Trail - 90 miles from Miami. It is nice now but poured rained on the way here. Hope you are O.K. [illegible]. Love, Margaret & All." Addressed to "Mr. & Mrs. John A. Cann, Teh Acres, Kennett Square, PA. R.D2." Postmark reads "Goodland, MAR 24 AM, 1953, Fla.". |
