Black and white photographic postcard labeled "3A280, Marco Lodge The Friendly Hotel, Marco Island, Fla." Marco Lodge is a white building with dark trim and "Marco Lodge The Friendly Hotel" on the street side of the hotel. There are five cars parked in front of the building and a palm tree in the left foreground. The back of the postcard is stamped "Naples Fla., Jul 26, 1963, 4 PM" and is written out to "Mr. Max [Cichov], 5216 W. Winona, Chicago, Illinois 60630." The correspondence reads: "Regards to all. Naples, Fla., July 25, 1963, Dear Max, Yes Rose & I took the trip to Marco and Chokaloskee. Many change[s] - you'll never believe it - Love, Virginia" |
