White envelope. Original watercolor painting of a cat in a dress and straw hat holding a piece of paper with a painting of a tropical landscape behind her. The artist's signature is at the bottom and reads "Jane Weddle." The artist has also painted a gray pedestal labeled "Key Marco Cat" below the Key Marco Cat postage stamp. Four lines and "First Day Of Issue" stamped on the proper left side. Postmark in the center reads "San Juan. PR Oct 12 1989 00936." Color stamp in the proper left top corner of the Key Marco cat artifact with a blue background. Text on the stamp reads "USAirmail 45, Puas, America, Southeast carved figure, A.D. 700-1450." The artist has the stamped the back of the envelope. The stamp reads, "Cat-chet by Jane Weddle." |
