Typed one-page letter from M.R. Matthews of Marco Island Development Corporation to Marco Island residents on Marco Island Development Corporation's Marco Island letterhead. The letter reads: Dear Islanders, Since the wonderful pre-organizational gathering most of us enjoyed on February 2, a preliminary committee, appointed by me, has been working diligently to correct and improve rules and regulations for our proposed Marco Island Yacht Club. This commitee is headed by Commander Tateo and includes Ralph E. Williams, Lowell F. Sarnes, Dr. Arthur B. Nightingale and Paul Stiefbold. We are attaching the results of their work entitled, "General Statement Covering Rules and Regulations of Marco Island Yacht Club, a membership application and a ballot for you to vote for initial officers. As you will note, on the ballot there is room for write-in candidates for every office. Please examine the attached material in detail and if you desire to become a member of this fine organization, return the application, ballot and your appropriate membership fee.
