Description |
White envelope. Border of 18 black Mayan glyphs around a adhered print of a piece of 20 pesos paper money, labeled "America, Honoring the Discovery of the New World, First Day of Issue, A.C. Doback." Four lines and "First Day Of Issue" stamped on the proper left side. Postmark in the center reads "San Juan. PR Oct 12 1989 00936." Color stamp in the proper left top corner of the Key Marco cat artifact with a blue background. Text on the stamp reads "USAirmail 45, Puas, America, Southeast carved figure, A.D. 700-1450." To its left is a color stamp of a Southwest humanoid carved artifact on a brown background. Text on stamp reads "25 USA, Puas America, Southwest carved figure, A.D. 1150 -1350." The back has an ink stamp with the artist's name (A.C. Doback) and lines for cachet number, design, and cancel. On the lines, in black ink pen, are written "113-C" (cachet number), Columbian 20 pesos note: gold (design), and machine (cancel). In the bottom right corner is the print number, "12/20." |
