Description |
Cream-colored envelope. Three images of different airplanes across the bottom. Green text on the proper right side reads "Honoring the Dedication of the Everglades National Park." Alternating black and red stars and "Air Mail" around the proper right edge and across the top. Black postage stamp in the center reads "Florida City, Dec. 5 9:00 AM 1947, Fla." Addressed to "O. Ludwig, 1751 N. Highland, Dearborn, Mich." Four identical green stamps on the proper left side featuring a heron and the state of Florida outline. Text on the stamp reads "Everglades National Park, 3c, United States Postage." Four lines and "First Day of Issue" stamped on the proper left side over the four green stamps. Back of the envelope describes the Key Marco mask. |
