Description |
Large color envelope. One side features an aerial image of undeveloped Marco Island. Scroll and six small images of explorers and Native peoples around the scroll. Text in the scroll reads ""Seek ye no more to find your treasure Island...your place in the sun...your refuge from cares and woes."" Text in the proper right top corner reads "Florida's Mackle Bros., Inc., 7704 W. Madison St., River Forest, Illinois 60305." "G.D. Cherner" is handwritten in pen underneath. Text in the proper left bottom corner reads "This is MARCO ISLAND..." White and green rectangular areas on the front for postage and an address. Handwritten text inside the green area reads "Ms. Saloma Olds, 1107 Shermer Rd., Glenview, Ill, 60025." In the white postage area are two 5 cent stamps and a postmark for Oak Park dated March 1, 1967. Back features a color aerial map of the development plan for Marco Island. Text in the proper left bottom corner reads "This Scale Model Shows A Revealing Look Into The Future." |
