Description |
Roylyn fuel cap from Marco Island Airways airplane. The circular metal cap is painted red with Marco Island Airways logo sticker on the concave central section of the outside of the cap. A red painted bar runs across the center. Around the circumference of the cap the part number, "2651-21," "pat. pend." and "Roylyn" are engraved on one side, and "LOCK" with a right-facing arrow is engraved on the other. The circumference of the inside of the cap is painted green. A silver beaded chain is attached to a post in the center of the cap, and two yellow tags are wired to the base of the chain. The tags document the repair service on the part by Brennan & Hargraves Inc. on June 11, 1985. |
