Black and white Deltona promotional aerial photograph of the Marco Island air strip. Numbered "18" on the back with a handwritten date of 1968. Caption attached to the back reads, "Air strip at Marco Island provides excellent and convenient facilities for visiting aircraft. The 3,100-foot asphalt strip was recently enlarged to provide a 30-foot wide runway and larger turn-around and parking areas at both ends, and both the northern and southern approaches were extended. The strip, which will accommodate both single and multi-engine planes, is just two blocks from the Marco Beach Hotel and a quarter of a mile from the sales office." |
