Description |
Photocopy of a land survey of Marco Island and the surrounding area, surveyed March 18th to April 5th, 1876. Text below the survey reads "The above Map of Township 52 South Range 26 East is strictly conformable to the field notes of the survey thereof on file in this Office which have been examined and approved. Surveyor General's Office. Tallahassee Florida, January 6th 1877". Text next to the survey reads "As per President's Order dated April 13, 1898, Lot 7 of Sec. 34 is permanently reserved for light-house purposes in connection with the light station at Cape Romano, Fla. See Commissioner's Letter "E" of April 30, 1898. See, also, T. 53S., R. 26E." |
